Twenty buyer questions, asked the way a bank, a hotel group and a hospital actually ask them, put to ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini. stc Bahrain was named in 59 of 60 answers — 98%. It was named first in 23. On Gemini it came second on fifteen of the twenty questions and first on one.
This audit uses the Xtrusio methodology — a twenty-question, three-platform framework designed to surface how AI assistants name or omit vendors while decision-makers are still shortlisting.
Questions were written from the point of view of enterprise ICT buyers in Bahrain — banking, hospitality and healthcare — and no vendor was named inside any question.
A 98% mention rate is not the finding. Being named second is.
Across 60 answers stc Bahrain was named 59 times — there is no visibility problem in the ordinary sense. But it was named first only 23 times. The Beyon group companies (Batelco, Beyon Cyber and Beyon Solutions) were named just as often, 59 times, and took first place 31 times. On Gemini the split is starkest: identical reach at 20 of 20, and Beyon takes 16 first places to stc’s 1. Buyers who ask an assistant for a shortlist usually act on the first name in it.

What happens on Gemini when a buyer asks for a recommendation
Gemini named stc Bahrain in every single answer. It also placed the company in exactly second position on fifteen of the twenty questions, third on four, and first on one. That is an unusually flat pattern — the position barely moves whether the question is about hotel Wi-Fi or core banking connectivity.
The three questions below are the ones where the gap costs the most, because they sit at the top of a bank’s buying process.

Nothing about stc’s actual capability changes between those three answers. What changes is how each platform describes and orders the same set of Bahraini providers. This audit records the difference; it does not determine what causes it. It could be how each provider is described on third-party sites, which sources each platform reaches for, or how strongly each brand is associated with the topic. Those are separate questions, and the recommendations at the end are written as tests rather than fixes.
