Xtrusio AEO/GEO Audit

Sixty answers. Nineteen name Presgo.

On the ChatGPT shortlist. Nearly invisible on Gemini and Claude.

A property developer or food producer asking ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini which ESG reporting software to buy hears Presgo on 19 of 60 responses (32%). ChatGPT names it well — six times at #1. Gemini names it on just 3 of 20, and on the two questions Presgo should own by pedigree — audit-trail locking and board-level governance — it is absent on every platform. Workiva (30) and IBM Envizi (29) own the answer; Presgo sits third.

The findings below come from Xtrusio, an AI visibility audit system built for B2B buyer-intent testing. Every mention was recorded by running 20 real prospect questions across three generative AI platforms and reading the answer text — noting whether Presgo appeared and in what order.

Questions were written from the perspective of Heads of Sustainability and ESG leads at listed property developers and food producers evaluating ESG reporting software — not from Presgo’s own category vocabulary.

The Home-Turf Miss

Presgo is strongest exactly where its product is loudest — and silent exactly where its heritage should win.

Presgo performs strongest on regional-framework questions on ChatGPT, while AI data quality is its clearest cross-platform strength. But on the two questions built for its own story — audit-trail locking (its “Data Locking by Financial Year” feature) and board-level governance — it is absent on every platform. Those answers go to Workiva and Diligent.

Platform Scorecard

How often each platform named Presgo — and how often it ranked Presgo first

Each of the 20 questions was asked once on each platform. A question counts as a mention when Presgo is named or recommended in the answer text. Source links are not captured, so this measures whether the buyer sees the name, and where it lands in the order — not where the platform read it.

Presgo sits third, not first
Workiva (30) and IBM Envizi (29) are named on roughly half of all 60 responses and appear consistently on every engine. Presgo (19) leans almost entirely on ChatGPT — 12 of its 19 mentions come from one platform.
The single-platform risk
Novisto and Position Green show the same shape as Presgo — strong on ChatGPT, thin elsewhere. Only Workiva and IBM Envizi hold ground across all three engines, which is what a durable AI presence looks like.

Buyer Personas
Three real, verified decision-makers from Presgo’s target buyer sectors — listed property developers and food producers across APAC and the UK. Names, titles and companies were verified; the buying concerns and search phrases below are research scenarios constructed from each role and sector, not statements attributed to these individuals. Each was assigned a block of the 20 questions.

Section 5

The Governance Blind Spot

Two questions Presgo should own by heritage — and loses on every platform

Presgo’s pedigree is governance. It is built by Azeus, the company behind Convene board-management software, and it markets “Data Locking by Financial Year” as a headline audit feature. Yet on the two buyer questions that map directly to those strengths, Presgo is named on none of the three platforms. The answers go to Workiva and Diligent instead.

“We’re being asked for audit-ready sustainability data with a full trail. Which platforms give clear data lineage and locking of historical figures?”

— Q12. Workiva, Novisto and Sweep were named across the three platforms. Presgo was not named on any — despite historical-figure locking being one of its named features.

“Which platforms connect sustainability reporting with board-level oversight and governance controls?”

— Q20. Diligent and Workiva were named on all three platforms. Presgo — built by the makers of Convene board software — was not named.
2 home-turf questions, zero mentions
Q12 (audit trail & locking) and Q20 (board governance) are the clearest expression of Presgo’s Azeus / Convene heritage. Both return zero across ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini — the widest gap in the whole audit.
The Convene story isn’t reaching AI
In the answers tested, Presgo was not associated with the governance themes where Convene has established brand relevance. Where a buyer asks about oversight, the engines default to Diligent and Workiva.
Same Pedigree. No Association.

Presgo has the governance and audit story built in. The tested answers did not consistently associate Presgo with these governance and audit themes. The observed gap appears to be visibility-related rather than an obvious capability gap, based on the Presgo features mapped in this audit — which makes it a high-value place to focus. This audit measures what the platforms say, not why.

Supplier ESG (100% on ChatGPT), AI data quality (named on all three engines) and the modular start-small message are Presgo’s strongest lines — they map cleanly to its named modules and its loudest first-party messaging.
Carbon & Materiality: 0% everywhere
Carbon Calculator and Materiality return zero on all three platforms — those answers go to IBM Envizi, Watershed, Persefoni and Novisto. Disclosure & Frameworks is strong on ChatGPT (80%) but collapses to 0% on Gemini.
Section 7

Methodology

How this Xtrusio AEO/GEO Audit was run

This research uses Xtrusio’s AI visibility analysis framework. It reports what AI platforms say when buyers ask; it does not determine why any platform names or omits a vendor.

01
Twenty buyer-intent questions
Twenty questions built from Presgo’s modules and the lanes competitors hold: eight strongly aligned with Presgo’s documented capabilities (regional frameworks, AI data quality, modular start, report generation), seven in shared competitive territory (supplier data, disclosure upkeep, goals tracking), and five designed around specialist-led categories (carbon accounting, CSRD, double materiality, audit trail, governance). None names a vendor.
02
Three platforms, sixty answers
Each question was asked once on ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini in September 2026 — 60 answers. A mention means Presgo is named in the answer text; rank is its order of appearance. The former Convene ESG name counts as Presgo. Model versions, browsing/retrieval states and account settings were not separately recorded, so the percentages and ranks are directional rather than a controlled benchmark; AI answers are point-in-time observations that can vary between runs. The 32% mention rate applies only to this locked 20-question set, not to Presgo’s visibility across all AI searches.
03
Competitor scope
The tracked set surfaced Workiva and IBM Envizi (enterprise disclosure), Novisto and Position Green (ESG-native), Persefoni (carbon) and, largely on Gemini, Plan A, Greenly and Greenomy. Presgo’s total is exhaustive across the 20×3 matrix; competitor totals are minimum confirmed counts within the tracked set, not a complete market ranking. Source URLs were not captured, so this audit measures whether a vendor is named and where it ranks, not where the platform read about it.
Section 8

Recommendations

Prioritised actions to close the governance and Gemini gaps

Presgo publishes a page for every module and is strong on ChatGPT. Nothing below asks for new products or new pages. The work is to make the existing module pages assert the specific claim a buyer question rewards, and to test whether stronger third-party category coverage improves Presgo’s position on the same queries.
