Al Dana Amphitheatre parking and shuttle: where to park and how to get in

By Gaurav Agarwal · Updated 13 October 2026

Yes. A shuttle bus runs from General Parking, next to Bahrain International Circuit, to the Plaza entrance, and your ticket price covers it. Box and Balcony bookings include Premium Parking, and others can add it at check-out. Taxis use signed drop-off and pick-up areas. Shuttle times and parking prices are not published.

01Which situation are you in?

Find your row, then read the section it points to. The venue now trades as Beyon Al Dana Amphitheatre, and its address is Gulf of Bahrain Avenue, Umm Jidar, Sakhir.

02General Parking vs Premium Parking

The venue runs two parking tiers. Its FAQ (last modified 2022) adds that parking options sit both at the amphitheatre and at the neighbouring Bahrain International Circuit.

Look at your ticket before you leave home. The venue's FAQ (last modified 2022) says every ticket shows a parking designation along with the seat location.

Two cars, one group

If your group arrives in two cars and wants Premium Parking, buy two passes, because each vehicle needs one, per the venue FAQ (last modified 2022).

03How the shuttle from General Parking works

The shuttle is a short bus ride from the General Parking lot to the entrance at the Plaza. The official page describes only this leg, from the parking lot to the Plaza.

You do not buy a separate shuttle ticket. Unless an event says otherwise, the ticket price covers shuttle bus services and entry to the venue.

  1. Drive to the venue and follow the road signage to Beyon Al Dana Amphitheatre. General Parking is located next to the Bahrain International Circuit.
  2. Park, then choose the shuttle bus or the pedestrian route to the Plaza.
  3. Carry accepted ID; the venue reserves the right to check identification of any ticket holder upon entry or once inside the Venue.
  4. After the show, the official page describes the pedestrian route and the shuttle bus only from General Parking to the Plaza; it does not say when or whether the shuttle runs back.

04Driving route and taxi drop-off

The amphitheatre is in Sakhir, 30 km from Manama, at the north-east corner of Bahrain International Circuit. It is about 30 minutes from Bahrain International Airport.

From Manama, take Shaikh Khalifa Bin Salman Highway, continue past the University of Bahrain and follow the road signs to the venue. From the airport, the official route is the same highway past the University of Bahrain.

For a taxi, drop-off and pick-up areas exist, and signs at the venue direct taxis to them. The ticket page for the André Rieu show (linked from the venue's events list) also lists a taxi or a ride-hailing app as a way to reach it. The venue also encourages visitors to use public transport where possible.

05What you cannot bring in (Conditions of Entry, 21 Sep 2026)

The rule that applies now is in the Conditions of Entry, updated on 21 September 2026: bags larger than A4 and backpacks of any size are not allowed. Leave anything on this list in the car, because people who refuse a search can be refused entry.

Smoking, including e-cigarettes and vapes, is allowed only in the designated smoking area.

ID to carry

Carry one of the accepted IDs: a current Bahrain Resident Identity Card with a photo, a current passport with a photo, or a current driver's or rider's licence.

Event-specific rules

An event can change these conditions, and changes may appear on its event page. Each event's ticket link also carries a summary of the terms plus any extra promoter terms.

06Before you leave home: a 6-point checklist

Run through this list on the day. The two rules that catch people out are re-entry and late arrival.

  1. Check the parking designation on your ticket, which the venue FAQ (last modified 2022) says every ticket includes.
  2. Pack a bag no larger than A4, and leave backpacks at home.
  3. Bring a Bahrain Resident Identity Card, passport or licence.
  4. Leave water bottles, food and large power banks in the car.
  5. Arrive early: late arrivals may not be admitted until a suitable break in the event, as decided by the promoter.
  6. Plan to stay in: a ticket is valid for one admission, and re-entry is not permitted unless stated otherwise.

07Upcoming events at the venue

As of 13 October 2026, the venue's official events feed lists two upcoming events. TUL8TE is on Friday 23 October 2026. André Rieu is on Friday 19 March 2027.

Buy only through the venue's authorised ticket outlets, because resale on any other platform is prohibited. The promoter can change event times, so check your ticket link again on the day.

08What the official pages don't say

The venue's pages do not give a price for General Parking or the Premium Parking add-on, and none says General Parking is free. They do not publish shuttle times, how often the bus runs or when the last shuttle leaves.

Gate times are set per event; the venue's own pages do not list them. No official page names a ride-hailing app or a pick-up pin, and none shows a parking map.

For anything here, call the venue on +973 1745 4444 or email [email protected] (Directions and Parking page).
