LMRA Biometric Appointment Bahrain: Booking, Documents and Branches

01Book an LMRA biometric appointment

1. Open the official LMRA Appointment Management System.
2. Choose Front Desk Services.
3. Select Biometric Data Collection at Headquarters, Muharraq Branch or Sehla Branch.
4. Enter the CR number when requested, visitor CPR, an 8-digit Bahraini mobile number and email.
5. Choose an available date and time on the remaining screens.
6. Save the confirmation and arrive at least ten minutes early.

02Who must attend biometric enrollment

LMRA’s service covers expatriate employees, domestic expatriate employees and investors whose work permits were issued by LMRA. Personal presence is required because the visit collects a photo, signature and fingerprints.

For arrivals processed at Bahrain International Airport, expatriate employees and dependants complete biometric collection through the airport route described by LMRA. Do not book a branch appointment if your official arrival instructions direct you to the airport office.

03What to bring

The official service lists one required document: a copy of the passport or ID card. Bring the original identification as well so staff can verify the copy. Keep the appointment confirmation available on your phone or as a printout.

Fee: LMRA’s biometric enrollment page does not list a separate service fee. The work-permit transaction can have its own fees.

04What happens at the appointment

1. Present the appointment confirmation and identification.
2. An LMRA employee verifies the documents.
3. LMRA collects the photo, signature and fingerprints.
4. LMRA says expatriate employees receive a mobile SIM card.
5. The work-permit process continues, and a medical appointment is generated if needed.
6. The data is sent to the Information and eGovernment Authority.

The official page lists the biometric service processing time as immediate. This does not promise that every related permit, residence or medical step finishes at the same moment.

No biometric slots appear

Check the other listed biometric branches. Do not choose a commercial or domestic-service appointment just because it has an earlier slot.

The form rejects the phone number

Use an 8-digit Bahraini mobile number without an international prefix.

The appointment cannot be found

Use My Appointments with the same visitor CPR and email entered during booking.

The worker has not arrived in Bahrain

Follow the official arrival instructions. LMRA describes a separate biometric route at Bahrain International Airport.
