By Gaurav Agarwal ยท Checked 5 October 2026
For a lost CPR in Bahrain, open Family ID Card Services, sign in with eKey, choose the lost or damaged card replacement option, review the stored details, attach a document only if the service asks, pay and submit.

01Lost CPR Bahrain: what to do now
The online service uses the photo and civil-record data already held by iGA. You need an eKey account and your personal number. If the service identifies a missing condition, it tells you which supporting document to attach.

02Replace a lost CPR online
- Open the official Family ID Card Services page.
- Choose Use eService and sign in with eKey.
- Select the family member and choose the option to replace a lost or damaged ID card.
- Review the stored details. Upload a document only if the service displays a requirement.
- Choose delivery, review the amount, pay and submit.
- Use the ID Card request-status service to track the application.

03Lost CPR replacement fee and time
- Bahraini: BHD 4.
- Non-Bahraini: BHD 10.
- Bahraini aged 60 or above: free through the electronic service, or BHD 4 with personal attendance.
- Postal delivery: BHD 1 when applying online.
- Processing time: 2 working days.

04Documents and delivery
The public service says the system may request a residence declaration, the property owner's ID, a marriage contract, a spouse's ID, a birth certificate, or legal custody proof when a specific condition is not met. Do not upload the entire list unless the service asks for it.
The replacement card is delivered through Bahrain Post to the residential address in the system. Check that address before submitting. For an in-person application, book an ID Card appointment first.

05Fix common lost CPR problems
- The family member is missing: confirm that you signed in with the correct eKey account and that the person is linked to the family record.
- The card is expired: use the route the service presents for your record. An expired card may be treated as a renewal.
- An address document is requested: attach only the document named by the service and make sure it matches the registered residential address.
- Payment succeeded but no request appears: check the request-status service before paying again.
- You cannot use eKey: fix the account through the eKey registration guide.
